Baby Registry

Creating your baby registry can be overwhelming… Can we just talk about that entire wall of BOTTLES?! There are A LOT of great products out there. I have compiled a list, organized into categories of our favorite necessities for our baby. Links are included to ponder! These are things that worked well for us. I hope the list can give you a starting point for your baby registry! If you have additional ideas, please share!!

Okay, Mama… you can plan ahead and purchase items for your little bundle of joy, but what about you right now? Are you in need of maternity clothing essentials? Check out the maternity capsule wardrobe here. Casual clothing for work and everyday.

Born Free Bottles— We purchased the glass bottles. They are easier to clean and will last longer. 4 bottles are plenty. Two 5oz and two 9oz.  However… we ended up needing to get plastic bottles for daycare.
Born Free Breeze 2-in-1 Bottle Brush –The brush is made specifically for the bottle… pretty neat!
Comotomo baby bottles –These bottles are also great! It is good to have a second type of bottle on hand in case your baby prefers one over the other!
Boon Drying Rack — get at least one accessory to go with it.
Burp cloths –I love the length and softness of these!
Bibs –Again, I love how soft these are!
Spoons–Easy to hold, colorful, baby eats well from it!
Bowls –8 oz bowls perfect for feeding baby solids!
Mesh food feeder –These are great for when your baby is teething and can have frozen or soft fruits!

Bamboo nursing pads –Washable and reusable.
Medela Nipple Cream–Use frequently!!!! Safe for baby and mama!
Medela Breast Pump –Check with your insurance– I got mine through insurance. It was sent to my house.
Breast milk storage bags–Best value and good quality!
Nursing bras–I started wearing these near the end of my pregnancy. So comfy!
Nursing tank tops–Nice to have for sleeping in and waking up with baby.
Medela nipple shield –I was given one of these in the hospital after I had Garrett. It made it very easy for him to latch on.
Boppy Nursing Pillow –I use this everyday! I wish I had brought it to the hospital when Garrett was born.

Pampers or Luvs –Diapers sent to your door… YES PLEASE!
Wipes –Wipes sent to your door… YES PLEASE! 😉
Ubbi Steel Diaper Pail– Stainless steal diaper pail does not absorb smells. Also, the trash bags you are already buying, fit inside the diaper pail.
Changing pad
Changing pad cover –Wipeable… need I say more?
Diaper rash ointment —A&D or Boudreaux’s
JJ Cole diaper bag –Simple and lightweight!

Baby lotion —Johnson’s or Aveeno
Shampoo/wash —Johnson’s or Aveeno
Angelcare bath tub support –Makes bath time safe, easy and FUN!
Munchkin bath toys — add on the Super Scoop Bath Toy Organizer
Hooded towels
NoseFrida –Gotta get the boogies out!
Digital Forehead Thermometer
Healthcare and Grooming Kit –baby finger nail clippers are NEEDED!

Digital Color Video Monitor –Probably in my top 5 of favorite items.
Crib –I love the fact that this crib can “grow” with our baby. It can be converted to a toddler bed and day bed.
Crib mattress
Mattress pad –waterproof
Crib sheets –Jersey cotton, cozy and soft!
Aden + Anais Muslin Blankets –I LOVE LOVE these blankets. Muslin is breathable and lightweight fabric. Excellent for swaddling and baby loves to cuddle with them when they are a little older.
Wearable blankets —Fleece and/or cotton. I recommend one for each season.
Glider chair –for the many hours you will spend rocking your sweet baby.

Chicco Bravo Trio Travel System –So easy to use and install! You may want to get an additional carseat base for a second vehicle.
Graco Pack ‘n’ Play –The reversible napper and changer is useful! We have used this SO much. Garrett slept in it in our bedroom the first 4 months.
Fisher-Price Kick & Play Piano Gym –Garrett LOVED this! So much entertainment for the little man!
ErgoBaby –I love this! Baby is so comfy and close to you. Best part… you’re hands free! When your baby is itty bitty you will need the infant insert.
Baby Einstein Jumperoo –Again, this toy provided endless entertainment! (Well at least 20 minutes haha)
Graco Dream Glider –Automatically rocks baby, plays music/soothing sounds, and can prop baby to sit up. We kept it in our living area so Garrett could snooze in it.
Pacifiers –Garrett’s favorite… but I recommend getting a couple different brands because your baby may have a different preference. (Don’t worry that it says 6+ months. Garrett took the paci as a newborn and it was very soothing for him)

I hope this list of the very best items to add to your baby registry is helpful! Happy nesting!
